Renfrew-Collingwood Better at Home Walking Club

Participants enjoy walking together and socializing. On Mondays, they go for a walk around the neighbourhood, then return to CNH for coffee and snacks. On Wednesdays, they walk somewhere else. See the Seniors’ Bulletin for details.

Women’s and Men’s Drop-in Soccer

This recreational soccer program is a great way to stay in shape and meet new friends in your community. The program promises to be popular so register early to ensure your spot. People of all skill levels are welcome. Local residents are given top priority when pre-registering. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO ENSURE A SPOT.

Rooftop Gardening

Learn to garden organically, share your knowledge with neighbours, and grow food for community programs. Volunteers are needed and beginners are always welcome! No previous gardening experience is required.

Local badminton enthusiasts have a great time playing badminton every Saturday afternoon at Collingwood Neighbourhood House. Come join the fun, get some exercise, and meet new people. We have room for more players! Bring your own racket. No instruction provided.

CNH Seniors’ Birthdays and Bingo Event

Permaculture & Ethnobotany Certificate Design Course

During this hands on, community based course, participants will learn about permaculture design, ethnobotany, herbalism, and soil and water systems. They will take an in depth look at social systems using an anti-colonial and justice orientated framework. Participants will receive mentorship to complete a hands on design project and 30 hours of experiential work at RCFSI gardens.
