Our ask
Filling the gap
In 2025, CNH experienced a significant funding loss, which continues to impact hundreds of participants who rely on support and connection at CNH.
As a result, we’re hosting our inaugural fundraising gala to address this gap, and we’re calling on your support to help us meet our goal.
Our gala aims to raise $60,000 to continue essential services at CNH. From connecting isolated seniors to providing food to low-income residents and creating space for Indigenous youth, funds raised from this event will be directed back into serving our community.

Our line-up

Headliner
Krystle Dos Santos is a 2x Western Canadian award winning singer/songwriter and performer. Her award winning self titled album was released in 2008, followed by Fame Fatale in 2011. BLOOM|BURN, her 3rd studio release, awarded her the WCMA for R&B artist of the year in 2020.
From singing on stage with Stevie Wonder and Michael Buble to theatre performances on stages all around North America, Krystle brings her eclectic style, powerful vocal prowess and magnetic charm to every performance she delivers. Catch her sharing the story of Canadian civil rights icon Viola Desmond in her original co-creation, Hey Viola!, or with her new country/rock project Orchard Sky in venues across our beautiful country.

Opener
TheBrowniez formed in April 2024 in a high school guitar class, but what started as a class project quickly turned into a serious creative outlet. Blending alt rock, indie rock, soft rock, and blues, the band builds their sound around clean tones, emotional depth, and tight musicianship.
Nash fronts the group on vocals and rhythm guitar, joined by Jaden on bass, Dean on lead guitar, Andre on drums, Louis on piano, and Liam on rhythm guitar — six musicians connected by brotherhood and a shared drive to write original music. Drawing from their diverse Filipino, Nepalese, and Chinese roots, TheBrowniez reflect Vancouver’s culture while carving out a sound that feels both modern and timeless. Their music leans vibey and raw, focused on feel and connection rather than volume. At 16–17, they’re already building a catalog of originals and laying the foundation for something built to last.
TheBrowniez are part of CNH’s youth settlement program. Learn more about their music on Instagram (@thebrowniezzz).

Emcee
Francis Arevalo is an East Vancouver-born-and-based emcee who is equal parts hype and heart. He started his 2026 by opening for revered rapper Shad at a sold-out Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, and continues into the release of his long-awaited album, 8 years in the making, “Home, Grown”. From the intersection of his Filipino heritage, knack for language, and lifelong love for hip-hop, each song is both fuel and fire to keep you going and keep you company, day in and day out. He is also a passionate mental health advocate living with Bipolar Type 1 Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, whose journey sharing his experiences through music was the subject of an award-winning documentary “The Lion” and of his 2024 album, “The Sound of Healing”. Francis is currently the Artist-In-Residence at CNH Annex, using the time to rehearse and record, while connecting with his neighbours using the space.
