Program Description:
Collingwood Neighbourhood House partners with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to distribute essential food items—such as fresh produce, pasta, milk, and rice—to programs supporting community members facing food insecurity.
We need dedicated volunteers to help unload and organize these supplies every Friday from 12 pm to 1 pm (except the last Friday of the month).
Your support ensures food reaches those who need it most.
Days / Time: Fridays, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (except the last Friday of the month)
Location: Collingwood Neighbourhood House – Main House, 5288 Joyce Street
Duties:
- Unloading food from the GVFB truck into the CNH Main House
- Assist staff in transferring items to their storage areas
Requirements:
- Ability to lift boxes (up to 30 lbs.)
- Completion of a Criminal Records Check focused in vulnerable sectors
