  • Name of Program: Wellness Program

Program Description

The Seniors Wellness Program’s mandate is to help seniors connect with their neighbours through workshops, special events, and weekly social activities. Our weekly programs include a Coffee Social on Thursday mornings and Musical Mingle, a drop-in karaoke-style coffee house, on Friday afternoons. Every Monday afternoon, we host a different activity: Birthday and Bingo, Karaoke, World Café (a current topics discussion group), and a 55+ Social Club. We also host many special events, such as a Holiday Luncheon in December, Lunar New Year, Mother’s Day Tea, and other holiday celebrations. Workshops range from comedy improv and hula dancing to financial literacy and fall prevention. We also hope to offer regular movie afternoons.

  • Day(s) and Time:
    • Mondays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. for Monday Fun Day activities.
