Recreation: Yoga & Movement Therapy

As of January 2024, this program is cancelled for the time being.

Please note, programs are subject to change or cancellation. To learn more or to register, call 604-435-0323.

Yoga and movement therapy offers practitioners a gentle movement experience that is accessible, holistic and trauma-informed. You can expect to mindfully move and learn to better listen to your own body; release tensions and stress, and prevent burnout.

Following the modalities of ancient sciences [Yoga & Traditional Chinese Medicine], instructor and health scientist Eda Ertan incorporates the mind and body connection with the integration of modern sciences into the yoga class; including neuroscience, psychology, behavioural sciences and psychoacoustics! With Eda’s crystal harp and sound therapy instruments, your organs will enjoy a vibrational massage to support your self-care practice. We look forward to practicing with you!

  • No experience required
  • All are welcome
  • Yoga mats and props are provided
