Online Art Series: Origami with Glenn Tarigan
We are excited to start the new year with an Origami Workshop with Glenn Tarigan on Saturday, January 16, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Whether you are a beginner, or want to learn how to make more complex origami shapes, Glenn can show you an array of folding options.
Register for this workshop at http://bit.ly/2Xtp9Ya or contact Yoko at YTomita@cnh.bc.ca. We hope you can join us!
[Origami papers can be found at many dollar stores and Japanese stores. Another good option is using leftover wrapping paper from the holidays, or easily foldable paper and cutting to size. Origami comes in several sizes, but standard sizes include 75 x 75 mm (about 3’x3’), 6-inch squares, and 10-in squares.]This program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
