Crisis and Hope Town Hall Poster

Crisis and Hope Town Hall

In partnership with GTEC Canada.

Share your thoughts, feelings and concerns about the climate emergency.

This is an open and unbiased space for everyone of all backgrounds and ages. We’re hoping to use this time to express ourselves, provide support and empower each other to tackle climate change in our local communities.

We’re using this opportunity to start our Community Action Plan. What types of events or environmental actions do you want to see happen in your own neighbourhood?

– More rideshares to take your kids to school?
– Neighbourhood events such as potlucks, car free days, or helping with a community garden?
– Having support groups to navigate and understand climate grief?
– How to become a social role model?

Let’s bring positive change and work together! There will be guest speakers, snacks, and music. Register for this free event via Eventbrite.

We respectfully acknowledge that our events occur on the unceded, traditional and ancestral xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) territories.
