Number of Volunteers: Up to 10

Position Start Date: Mid-August

Program Description: CNH will be hosting a Welcome Pole Raising ceremony carved by Mike Billy and Redmon Andrews. We are looking for a group of volunteers to help assist our teams with crowd control and safety at the time of the ceremony.

Day(s) and Time: Mid-August, date to be confirmed. Approximately 4 to 6 hours in total.

Location: Collingwood Neighbourhood House, 5288 Joyce St, Vancouver BC.

Duties

  • Direct crowds and attendees to designated viewing stations.
  • Ensure the sidewalk has a clear path for pedestrians.
  • Help CNH staff and other Volunteers put out/remove signs and caution tape.
  • Help ensure general safety and understanding is communicated throughout the ceremony.

Requirements

  • Criminal Records Check clearance.
  • All experience levels welcome.
