Neighbourhood House's Community Living Room
during the 2010 Winter Games
Collingwood Neighbourhood House will be hosting a Community Living Room where we will have a 50" plasma television available for neighbours to gather and enjoy viewing the 2010 Winter Games. There will be an official opening event of our Community Living Room with fun activities for the whole family on February 12, 2010. Community Living Rooms are part of the City of Vancouver's Community Happenings during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. More details will be available in mid-January at the community centre and on-line at vancouverparks.ca.
Collingwood Neighbourhood House Recreation Programs - CNH offers a range of programs and activities for all ages. Activities include music, dance, the arts, as well as physical and social activities. We strive to provide a good balance of program activities for people of all ability levels and interests in our community. Most of our recreation programs take place at the main house located at 5288 Joyce Street; however, some activities are located at satellite facilities in the community.
Registration
Please read the program description in this flyer for the starting date, time, cost and registration information for CNH recreation programs. You can participate in many drop-in recreation programs at CNH by paying a drop-in fee at the front desk. For some programs you must register before the program begins, and it’s a good idea to sign up early, as most programs are very popular with limited space. Most pre-registered programs run for 12 weeks, three times each year (Fall, Winter, Spring). Please contact CNH regarding start dates for these activities.
