Intercultural Community Learning

CNH is part of an Intercultural Community.

An intercultural approach is about embracing diversity, fostering awareness, connecting people, building bridges between us and working together to create something new in our neighbourhood.

Interculturalism is the view that we all benefit when we actively encourage connections between people from different cultures. It allows us to share our uniqueness, open up new ways of seeing and doing things and enables us to co-create something new.

See Connecting Diversity, the YouTube channel for Renfrew Collingwood Intercultural Neighbourhood Development!

Community Development

Collingwood Neighbourhood House uses a community development approach to build leadership, capacity, and mutual respect in our neighbourhood.  We strive to work with our neighbours and our many partner organizations to make Renfrew-Collingwood a beautiful, inclusive, and resilient place to live. In everything we do we rely on a team of amazing volunteers-people like you who are passionate about learning from each other and contributing to the community. Explore the list of projects on our website to see how you can get involved.
